As part of the Autumn/Winter fashion season launch at Westfield centres, a series of Colour Days were introduced as a new foundation element to The Fashion Festival at Westfield.
Shoppers were invited to book a Colour Days session with stylist trained to determine their colours using cloth swatches to guide them on the journey. Shoppers eagerly booked colour consultations with these activated for just one day in each centre as a precursor to the Style Lounge events. Sessions were run at Riccarton, Albany and Manukau.
Resene were considered the perfect partner to sponsor the Colour Days, as colour is their thing. Working with Resene we were able to introduce their involvement using one their testpot images and a Resene blue hue that tied nicely to the artwork produced by Westfield for the launch.
As part of the launch, Fashion Festival Banners were installed at many of the centres, and Resene’s involvement with the Colour Days was further extended with Resene creative appearing on the reverse face of the banners.
The new Colour Days were a great success, with at least one centre needing to book a second day for the stylist to come back due to demand.
The Colour Days will be repeated in August/September with some new colour surprises.
